These restaurants are all located in the upper Blue Mountains and are generally within a ten minute drive from the house. If you are wanting to head out and have a few glasses of wine then it is recommended to either grab a taxi or catch the train.
The Chalet Guesthouse Restaurant, Medlow Bath (Temporarily Closed)
This restaurant is a knockout and is open to the public for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. The Chalet is also within walking distance to the house. The dining room and the cosy lounge room are beautifully decorated using some wonderful pieces of artwork. While being reasonably priced the food is very high quality. BYO and licensed. Book in advance so as to avoid any disappointment.

The Boiler House Restaurant, Medlow Bath
This fully licensed restaurant is part of the Hydro Majestic Hotel. The Boiler House sits on the escarpment therefore offering stunning views out over the Megalong Valley. Their menu has a broad selection consisting of pizza, pastas and other great dishes that host locally sourced produce. Open seven days a week for lunch from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. The Wintergarden, Hydro Majestic, Medlow Bath
With its spectacular view and an impeccable refurbishment the Wintergarden is certainly the nicest dining room setting of any Blue Mountains restaurant. The Wintergarden serves a high tea during the day and is also open for dinner seven days a week from 6:00 pm.

Cinnabar, Blackheath
This restaurant keeps getting rave reviews. This fully licensed restaurant opened in 2018 by a couple of experienced local chefs who are still on top of their game. Cinnabar offers share plates that combine flavors and styles from all round the world. Check out their Tripadvisor reviews by clicking here. Cinnabar is open from 5:30 and does the annoying 2 sittings in a night, however don’t let that put you off.
